Montfalcó Murallat is situated on a hill and is an extraordinary example of a medieval walled town. It is surrounded by large walls, 8 to 9 metres high and 1 to 2 metres thick. Within the village there is a well that is believed to have been an ice well, a place where wine was fermented, two tanks that collected rain water, the San Pedro Church with bell tower, and the old communal bread oven. In 1949, Montfalcó was declared Heritage of National Cultural Interest.

Located in the district of La Segarra, you can travel back to a past steeped in history and legends. A land of paths, castles, churches and watchtowers inviting you to enjoy the ever-changing landscape of crops.
